SASCO was founded in 1967 with a clear mission: be the best at prime cost and earn the trust of the industry’s leading general contractors. That focus has never changed. What has changed is the scale and sophistication of how we deliver.

Over nearly six decades, we’ve grown from a regional electrical contractor into a fully integrated firm with in-house engineering, BIM and virtual design capabilities, a 175,000 square-foot prefabrication facility, and a team of 500+ professionals. Since 1992, SASCO has been recognized with NECA Awards for our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and innovation.

SASCO was founded in Southern California.

SASCO's project list that year reflected a growing, diversified client base across Southern California and beyond. The team completed electrical work for CBS in Los Angeles, delivered the Ernest Home Center in Reno, and closed out two Best Products locations in Montclair and Northridge/Stockton. The company also broke ground on the Meadows Mall in Las Vegas.

SASCO closed out the decade with a foothold in the federal sector, completing electrical work on a U.S. Federal Courthouse in Las Vegas — early proof of the company's ability to deliver on complex, high-security government projects.

A landmark year for SASCO's client roster. The team delivered electrical systems for the Kirk Douglas Theater in Culver City and Sony Imageworks, while taking on major healthcare work across multiple Kaiser Permanente facilities and completing a new Federal Courthouse and Cottage Hospital. SASCO also began its long-running relationship with Google, wiring several early campus buildings, and supported critical infrastructure upgrades at LAX, including data systems, temporary power, and baggage handling.

SASCO's reach expanded further into entertainment, tech, and education. The company completed the LAX Central Plant, delivered electrical work for Universal Studios, and built out the Safavi Lab at Stanford University. Continued partnerships with Sony Pictures, Disney, and Google kept SASCO embedded in some of the region's most demanding, technically sophisticated environments.

SASCO's momentum continued into some of Southern California's most high-profile developments — including the long-anticipated Oceanwide Plaza in Downtown LA, Terminal 5 and the Arrivals expansion at LAX, and the Weingart Tower supportive housing project. The team also completed work on the Rendon Hotel, Long Beach Airport, a new Google building, and additional Kaiser Permanente facilities — underscoring SASCO's role across hospitality, aviation, tech, and healthcare all at once.
